From our satellite source, Valueman: "Solidaridad 1 strayed out of its 300 mile figure 8 configuration (this GEO, like others, has a path that it strays due to gravity and other pulls). It appears to be a programming issue only to rectify the path error, which has happened once before with this Hughes GEO. It is not expected that this is a lost satellite at all, nor is this a matter of power loss. SatMex GOCC with Hughes is working to bring the GEO back into its orbit, and is working to have this executed within the next 24 hours. Since the signal to the GEO was never lost, one has reason to see a positive outcome to this orbit stray. No, it is not similar to the Telstar issue of three years ago by any means."
