Fine but first they announce the IPO. That in itself will create frenzy. Bottomline, no one can predict when the peak of any frenzy will be. Will June be better than May? They don't know. When they're ready to go they'll go. I sincerely doubt they'll hold back BNBN to wait for "perfect" market conditions. If they knew when those would be they'd be psychic.

I have been wondering whether barnesandnobel.com can compete with other online bookstores. Recently I purchased a book from it, and later found that I was charged too much, not only for the book, but also for a sale tax. The company told me that it doesn't match price with others. The following is the price information I found later:

b&n.com 17.46
shopping.com 16.96
buy.com 14.97
amazon.com 17.47
booksamillion.com 15.71

Watch out when you shop books online.
