Pluvia, I never contended to be an expert, unlike some others on here. TD GL which is the largest retail broker in Canada has a 0% margin on BII. My understanding from an earlier post was that CT securities had done the same (which has since been proven to be wrong). Similarly there are brokers in the US who also have 0% margin on BIDS such as Schwab as someone pointed out. I never contended that ALL of them were at 0%. I said the biggest canadian one was. Hundreds of thousands of shares were liquidated last week when this went into effect.

You are counting on Margin calls to bring the price tumbling down. Given the situation on BII/BIDS, I think that's a pretty rookie comment you made yourself. It's a scare tactic, admit it. You trying to make my comments less credible just proves that.

>>>I suggest you listen more and talk less, as you have a way of shoving your foot in your mouth each time you try to be an expert...<<<

Anyone who can turn 75k into 500+k obviously knows what they are doing. I started with similar capital and made just less than half of what you did in the same time period (without shorting mind you) As such, I'd be very interested in hearing your comments. I'm always open to learning. I don't pretend to be an expert. You want to tell me about a $12 support or a $20 resistance.. great.. let's talk about it. If on the other hand you want to start spouting the garbage that you have on this thread, then your comemnts just reduce whatever shred of credibility you may potentially have. Come on Steve, let's hear the real investor talking -- the person whose experience we can all perhaps learn from. Not the trash talking idiot that's on this thread right now.
