Well, I don't know about future technology because I can't predict what will be here in 5 years. However, to me the bottom line is that Qwest will be on line with their network in June, they are making money, and they are signing many contracts. No one else is close in this arena except the big 3, so I invest in Qwest over anyone else. Perhaps I'm short sighted and will be proven wrong. But I think Qwest will make good money, and I think LVLT will lag behind once the profits start coming into Qwest and the losses continue with LVLT. At least I hope so, because I plan to roll into LVLT to take advantage of their technology once they start up the hill to profitability. I would like to buy some cheap.

Mark:
Firstly I don't think QWST and LVLT should mirror each other.

<< I think this is why LVLT tracks QWST (or vice-versa) the way it does, they are both nothing more than proxies for a commodity right now.>>

QWST is far ahead of LVTL. Although they both have similar objectives in the same arena, QWST is far beyond LVLT. QWST has produced small positive earnings. LVTL won't for a couple years and will need more money to do it while QWST lights up it's domestic network shortly.

I don't think the sale meant anything Jason. Just like we unload something to use some of our profits, Nacchio did the same. Of course when we take a trip to Europe on profits, it is not noticed. With Joe and the others it is recorded. Means nothing.

There are those who speculate whether to buy more now and gain the advantage of a rise on the split. Really doesn't matter unless they are trying to get another 5 %. Those who are long.......we make a profit. Short ? Some days you will make a profit. Trying to time a 5 % gain ?? You get burnt.
