Not familiar with Phillip Services. Can you post a link? As I said to RG, most SEC enforcement action has focused on the fraudulent promotion of small stocks, not bashing. It's hard to prove that bashing has any significant effect, especially when the stock trades such large volume. As for libel, very few cases have been brought, and the plaintiff has to have a subpoena to get the records from teh ISP and teh thread operator, then it has to find the person, draft a complaint tailored to the state in which that person resides, and serve him and follow through with the lawsuit there. That's a lot of trouble to go through for not a lot of gain.
