Bachman,
Hi!!!

RE:BLOWOUT

Well thanks for the news....and thanks for the phone call....you know if everyone had been LISTENING TO THE DELL MANAGEMENT TEAM..

But, then there are those that have short memories....damn, this is easy!!! I'd never cheat at anything...except golf...and that doesn't count does it? Yet, cheatin' off these guys is so easy....

Best, Kemble

Hi Bachman...surely if we E-mailed IR, they would confirm your rumor, no? (If not, why wouldn't they?)..

JBN3, talked to my wife, she works at Dell, and has heard nothing
of the sort. I imagine the last half of the day doesn;t matter much
but I wouldn't believe they would let go of a day of revenue.

Sorry Folks, appears to be JUST a RUMOR!

Klaus posted this.
techstocks.com

Thank you, Klaus, for the information!

Kemble also received the following email:

... I wanted to let you guys know that the rumor about the day off at Dell tommorrow is not true. My husband works there in sales & he also noted that Manufacturing will be working until 11 tommorrow night. That is good though that they need to work until 11 to get all of those orders filled ...

So, the part about the day off is definitely a rumor, and a false one at that, as it applies to the company. That would make the part about the blow out quarter very suspect also. Sorry for the confusion and for posting before I could confirm. My apologies to all.

Now we know the rumor definitely does NOT apply to the whole company. Can anyone narrow down the parameters a bit? Venkie had said that he had heard the same information from two different sources. Who does, and who does not have the day off? And why?

thanks, jbn3
