Well Lebo...maybe Lucent, ADI, Texas Instruments, Cisco, Ascend, Nortel, Newbridge, Siemens, STMicro, CPQ, Dell, ADC, Advanced Fibre Communications, Diamond Lane, Efficient Networks, Ericsson, Philips, Pulsecom, Samsung, Sumitomo and 3Com. OH!...and not to mention the UAWG and ITU and others should hear what your "Friend" has to say. <gg>

Of course there is no lock on ADSL by any one company, however, what Aware holds are "numerous patents and has a number of patents pending which apply to digital signal processing, digital communications and data compression. These patents underlie Aware's technology offerings."
