Doug, the new name is not in the shareholder mailing. My package has already arrived. One of the matters to vote on is approval for a new name that MGR's management will choose later. My own view on the name change is that Mongolia Gold suits the company's objectives just fine. I can't see why any name change is needed -- nor what name would be a better one than the present name (joke names exempted). I think that a name change would be a misleading act -- trying to get new buyers of shares to overlook the corporate entity's past, and giving new buyers the impression that the company is new rather than renamed only. My view is that the VSE should not allow this or any other name change as a simple matter of passing a corporate resolution. Publicly-traded companies should have to give exchanges good reasons for name changes.
