God love ya if you ever have to take Dell up on that warranty!....I bought a Dell Latitude LM Laptop several years ago and had something funky go wrong with the display screen....what a nightmare, on the phone for hours at a time (on hold);....was without my machine for over a month, even though I paid express mail to get it to them;....some tech's assistant tried to say I had dropped the machine to cause the malfunction (no signs of that on case or anywhere)....charged me $159 just to look at it because my warranty had expired several weeks before.....tried to get me to pay another $1300 for a new display....I refused and had them send back the machine....two weeks later it got here and has worked fine ever since!....Real Screwy episode....Not a bad machine, but I wouldn't buy it for the servicing or the warranty.
