Oh, dear, no, I did not think you were saying anything about me. I was simply afraid that you thought I had said those snide things about you, when I had not. But do I have to call you "Rambi" now? It somehow is not at all the same, dear fishy woman.

I, too, see DAR and Feelings as a yin/yang thing to some degree. I think George just likes to pull your chain, at the same time professing his undying admiration for you. Isn't that a little passive aggressive or something?

Were you talking about my trip? It seems years ago, now, even though I was in Ireland at this time last month. While it felt stifling when I was there, now I remember the undulating coast roads and the old stone walls with fond memories. A child at my daughter's school wrote an open letter on a laptop computer last week about killing all the students there, which really frightened my child so much she had nightmares and was too afraid to go to school at all. Then I read that a Russian defector has confirmed that there is a nuclear attack planned on us, and am suddenly in full-fledged, end-of-the-millennium urban panic.

I have not had time to read very much at SI lately. Was it fun searching for the very best college, and hopefully getting in? It is an adventure I have not yet endured (if that is the word to describe it).
