Steve,
It is truly wonderful to hear from you. Yes, I am retired, but am starting to do financial planning and i have been doing some medical business consulting. Enough to pick up some extra money, and be busy and stimulated. Actually, I have been very busy. Your TRV shares of course are now C (Citigroup) shares, which went sideways after the merger with Citicorp, but C is up >51% since the start of the year. This is a long term hold. Sandy Weil is a fabulous buy. he may rank second only to jack Welch of GE. Everybody should own GE--even if you are an AIMer.
What is this about Thailand?? Glory and i will be living in Dana Point this summer, near laguna Bch and San Clemente. I would love to meet and get together with you in socal.
What follows is a link to a simple but nice article on what mutual fund to buy if you can only afford one fund. thestreet.com
It is good in its simplicity and does not bear directly on AIM, but worthwhile. Stay in touch. My new e-mail is floyds@ibm.net
Best,
Floyd
