limtex.

Take a deep breath, have a beer, enjoy the evening. I am getting worried about you!

First, when has Opec ever managed to hold a production quota? I am absolutely amazed how everyone thinks this time is different. Keep in mind that commodities are still in the tank and oil producers are still starving for cash. I really will be surprised if cheating doesn't start very soon, and oil prices tank once again. Keep in mind that inflation is still nowhere to be seen, South America and Asia are still on life support...how are they going to keep production down?

OK, I agree with you that I don't understand the Nextel deal. Never have been impressed with those folks, even though their headquarters are down the street from me. However, I have been in WCOM since they bought my MFS stock, and Bernie has always down the right thing. I am a strong believer in buying management. As a long term investor I will hang with Bernie until he proves he is not the crack management team I have enjoyed until now.

Now, take a deep breath <g>.

Regards,
