I hear they are going to be making some interesting announcements about some rather hot, new products in the next couple of weeks. Has anyone here noticed a move in the price when they have made similar announcements in the past?

Shane interesting to note that as far as I could tell neither Ford nor Caterpillar are SAP customers. As noted from the CC domestic (USA) automakers are lagging in made to order type auto production.

When the day GM crosses over to i2 comes, watch out. The thought that i2 now has the foot in the door of both Ford and Cat is great news. Smokestack type industries can use i2's SCM to extract some cost and and add it to the bottomline. Your classic capitalist win/win situation. Sanjiv was less than sanguine on the Oracle partnership.
I wonder what will become of it. I suspect some of the Am weakness was due to Cary's departure. That type of effect is commonly seen on a stock price. I wish Mr. Cary luck in his new venture.

regards,

denis

Shane,

Any thoughts on the i2's acquisition of SMART Technologies? Here's the link: i2.com;

Seems rather inexpensive at 68mil., for an internet software company.
