Neocon, Thanks for your message. The 213-213 vote in the House of Representatives oddly mirrors my attitudes toward this war- I am torn between competing equities and just feel disturbed by the whole process....Finally I am assuming that Yeltsin's statements reflect pressure from Left Wing Communists and Center Nationalists at home....

Just the fact that the White house gave the finger to the Congress today tells me that this is no democracy... I hear you neo , but it don't rhyme....Clinton is under control... Unwise is good-- It understands that other very deadly nations won't get unwise--- The US has proved many times that they are prepared to get unwise... Just for a second , imagine Russia or China deciding to bomb some south american country because they said that the leader was an asshole....
