I'm a former So. Cal type. Round about 1988, I looked at relocating my T-bird to Seattle. Most of my family lives in or around the Puget Sound. But when I saw all the growth a got rid of it, and bought a pickup, veered eastward to oz. Yes, Toto we've landed in Kansas.

Now I'm a semi-retired, gentleman farmer and loving it. Lots of wildlife, trees and rolling hills (no, not all Kansas is flat as a board - much like Tom's beloved Wisc.) I do miss the sun & surf, but not the congestion. I still do some consulting in So. Cal - usually by electronic commute and occasionally in person.
