Steve
This is not good news. I was surprised ALA did not fall more yesterday, though the BellSouth agreement likely helped.

Having lower telecom profits this first 1/2 is amazing, given how well everyone else is doing.

So once more ALA disappoints. We will not see any major move up until 1999 full year results are announced in 2000.

It seems that ALA is doing a lot of planning for the future. The Bell South agreement obviously did nothing for the first quarter and may not do much for this quarter, but will certainly help in the future. I've been lurking here for awhile, but haven't taken the plunge yet. I think that the street's motto for the time being is show me the money, so no matter what announcements they have, unless it seems that earnings are going to go up, this stock will stay somewhere around where it is, so I'll probably be lurking a bit longer.
