Chip,

No really...no system per se other than the good 'ol gut feel <g> ...which means I make mistakes by missing the obvious more often than I need to. Also the reason I don't post on this thread much....most of the stuff goes way over my head. Since I started with bonds late last year I tried to teach myself some basic technicals (since bonds seem to trade much more on technicals) but gave up and decided to go for large moves based on fundamentals, which I'm better at. Now I just avoid major news events on the bonds and ...so far that seems to be working better than trying to enter and exit on my half-baked understanding of technical stuff. I've been trading spoos/minis (and naz for a bit last year) for about 2 years now and am much more comfortable with them - I seem to do better at them than the bonds, and don't find a lack of technical analysis as much of a handicap as with the bonds. And, of course, the all important mental/real stop was the most crucial lesson in all this. Still learning that lesson....complacency is a sneaky thing. :)
