Thanks, kha and SF for the encouragement. I think we should be careful with any new ST positions in the techs (especially May options.) I really got burned last year because I had an entire portfolio of great out of the money calls in techs in May last year. They almost all expired worthless because it took about 6 weeks for the tech sector to recover. As I understand now, May tends to be a slow time for techs.

With the inflation worries ($TYX bond yield above 5.6 again) slowly rearing their ugly head, I think we should all try to get into enough cash to be able to pick up the bargains after the next correction. That (and a lot more) is what I didn't know last year and it almost ended my trading career before it had even begun...

I don't want to be cynical, I just think we need to be careful and not be overextended during uncertain times.

Strangely both my picks, PILT and BEAM were upgraded by Hambrecht & Quist today. I think BEAM's upgrade was predictable however. Its been on a tear for a week and more. Did you still have BEAM?
