El: You're probably right about the rabbits at least for the time being. IMO, he has made a mistake by not giving WS a date of definitive time frame for the "turnaround," so to speak.

WS 101 - The street hates uncertainty!

He would have been better off giving them a date - even if it was as far out as the end of Q3 - by which CPQ would have its act together. Better yet, a timetable for even some small definitive steps that would be achieved within this quarter - headway, signposts. Instead, he has given the street NOTHING - so now he's in the pressure cooker to produce pronto!

The situation at CPQ may not be as bad as it looks, but the street trades on perception.

Elwood...If CPQ touches $17... I'll mow your lawn, do the dishes, take the garbage out, wash your car, change the litter-box, and vacuum for the next year...

However (let's see, CPQ @ $22.5ish minus $4.5= $17...as opposed to CPQ @ $22.5 plus $4.5= $27), if CPQ hits $27...you do the same, alright?

Let's make a wager....
