Bill,

>>Wayne: I believe I saw Stephen Got Even at only 4-1. I'd say Prime
Timber is the value play at current odds (12-1), although I didn't see
the odds on Adonis.<<

I could never take Stephen Got Even at 4-1. Prime Timber at 12-1 is a definite value and I will take that if the odds hold.

I have two small problems with Adonis.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with Nick Zito as a trainer. Nick is known for moving horses up on wet tracks. (how I don't know) Even though the official designation for the track for AQU on 4/10/99 was fast, there was some moisture in it. It rained the day before. Certainly there was moisture early in the day. So I am not sure if he improved due to blinkers or a fondness for moisture. Most likely blinkers, but it's a small issue for me.

The second problem is with the quality of the field in the Wood. The NY racing for 3 year olds was horrible.

So I can see your point about his position in the field and that he may just be getting going as a horse right now, but I would need a big price on him to go to the windows.

WC

Now quit equivocating and tell me exactly which horse to bet on tomorrow. Winner only. I am now in the big time: a Derby Day party with a $2.00 minimum. Last year I came off with I think it was $18.
