Why is there any competition? I wouldn't pay for an ISP either if I didn't have to. I don't understand why someone would if they could get it free. If that's what it takes to get England using the Internet maybe they'll have to offer free AOL.

OS,

I heard today that the 'free' services at PRGY are not so free after all. According to the news story(On the radio. I'm looking for a link to post). PRGY sent out letters to those customers who were "using to many free hours". The letter threatened to shut off their free service.

Free service is a scam and will cost you in the long run with:
Poor service
Busy signals
Poor content
No support
....and a letter telling you, "It's not really free so if you pay us, we'll let you get your e-mail."

When/if I find the story I'll post.
