Agreed. But I might add Southern hush puppies to the menu. My most
memorable fish fry was somewhere near Meridian, Mississippi, and I
think I remember it as much for the hush puppies as the fish. But
what really made if memorable was the setting (out in the country
near a stream) and the friendly people.
