Our partner Smith&Nephew announced today that they had sold their Bracing and Support Systems Business for about $200mm. They said that the disposal was "to sharpen the focus of its business portfolio by prioritizing investments in three business areas with strong global prospects, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy and Wound Management." I wonder if this means the start of the ATIS/S&N cartilage trials? This megabuck market involves all three areas of S&N interest, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy and Wound Management. Any comments?
