Remember when somebody spammed a number of threads here on SI with a posting that claimed the Stock Detective (Kevin L.) was a hypester himself and the SEC was investigating him ?? Several people noted that it looked like the work of stock promoter Steve Samblis or somebody associated with him.

Good Morning, Ms. Shell, Do you know who Dave Gore is? I am assuming Dave Gore is "Foolsgold" on RB?? Had no idea who made that post on RB. It was the info I was linking to. I don't know who Dave Gore is, although Graystone has done a job of showing who he is. Regardless of who wrote it, it did have some ring of truth in it. In "generalities", his comments were leaning towards the "good point" side. As I said, I saw a bit of "overkill" in the post, pointing more towards an "agenda" than "generalities". As for Graystone's "profile of a P & D"...Graystone is another who's posts I learned quickly to hit "next" on. His "MTEI PR" -or- "SCAM MAKES THE NEWS" type of posting; his preening and posturing (IMO)...all gave me the "go on" nod.(as did all the replies to it.) Yes, possibly hidden in all that pomposity was some factual information, but just as most click past my ramblings because they are just that, I did the same with Graystone and many other "concerned citizens", missing the truth he "might" have been pointing out. I wish in a way the delivery would have been presented in a palatable fashion as to have drawn my, and other's, attention instead of repelling it. Seriously, it would have saved me a bunch of money; or at least gotten me to dig a bit deeper. I "buy no conspiratorial garbage", in fact, it all makes me pretty sick sometimes. I have no "stink" with you either, Janice. You are just another poster on SI to me. I can't remember when I have even read one of your posts. No, that's not true, I did see you posting on a couple of new threads and read thru your comments as I did the others. Someone posted the lawsuit news the other day and I read the first line and moved on. I wasn't interested. I had no idea it was over an April Fool's joke until last night. This isn't a "Janice thing" at all to me. You sent a pm to a good friend of mine last fall discussing DGIV, and my opinion of you was elavated a bit. I appreciated the unbiased, factual way you presented your information...and wondered why public posts weren't in the same tone. Anyway. Notice, I did not reply on MDIN to that post. I put it here, possibly a mistake, but I did it because I thought the general idea of it rang of some truth. Mob mentality? Not my cup of tea. . No wonder we eventually lose our patience and call these people fools. Everyone has their level of tolerance, everyone has their opinions, everyone has their point where they "eventually lose our patience and call these people fools"...whether they are the "Dave Gore's" or the "bashers de jour" on a thread. Everyone is aware of the contrarian views. I guess that "eventuality" finally hit with Dave Gore. Have a nice weekend, Ms. Shell. E'Lane

Janice and all dgiv'ers.... Howdy! We drove through Milan today, and I asked the bus driver if we could stop to call you, but everyone on our tour said "No!" We came out of Switzerland and came into Italy and now we are in Venice at the Hotel Antonio. I just wanted to say Hi to everybody, and the two Aussie chicks are still with us, even after 4 bottles of wine this evening at dinner. We are 6 hours ahead of ET.
