Any idea when the proxy will be mailed, which will presumably discuss the merger? If this deal is to be completed by end of June, I would have thought they we'd get our ballots by now.

To Paullie: Suggest that the best time to buy either JDS Fitel or Uniphase was yesterday, with the second best, tomorrow. Waiting is perhaps a good thing, but as the old song goes "It ain't necessarily so". DD is probably necessary. Waiting for a merger to "settle down" may not be. But of course, no one really knows.
