PB,
I agree. I just know that at first, Intel denied there even "was" a sub-1000 market. Then they were late to the party. Now they are doing a pretty good job with it.

PB, Re: Jim, by the tone of your posts I take it you believe something like Intel wails and nashes teeth with every Celeron sale

Jim is another interesting person on this and the AMD thread.
He praise K6 but bought a Celeron based system. He sounds that
Intel was going to suffer big but hold his INTC share for quite
some time(I thought over a year?) but sold his AMD and just
doubled his position before the split at around 65(post split).
