PB,
I agree. I just know that at first, Intel denied there even "was" a sub-1000 market. Then they were late to the party. Now they are doing a pretty good job with it.

Jim is another interesting person on this and the AMD thread.
He praise K6 but bought a Celeron based system. He sounds that
Intel was going to suffer big but hold his INTC share for quite
some time(I thought over a year?) but sold his AMD and just
doubled his position before the split at around 65(post split).
