Steve, Thank you for the interesting posting. I bought earlier this week at 15 on a hunch and am most gratified to see the run-up. Could you explain a bit more on the connection between the first part of your note (in which you discuss industry's race to some standard, any standard to beat MP3) with the second part (in which you discuss CDNW's distribution). Do you envision that some production company might vertically integrate its corps of performers with a new audio format and an exclusive Internet distribution channel (i.e., CDNW?). If so, why wouldn't the producer want to be able to distribute its artists and its format in every channel possible? Just curious, and keeping my fingers crossed that our nice run-up continues happily up through the 20s and 30s. --Islander99
