Continuing my effort to figure out what John Hwang's Online Services division is going to do, the numerical information is taken from the web site tsig.com It appears that the numbers provided are assuming a storefront e-commerce web site with 7/24 telephone coverage.

Cost for a company to develop their own e-commerce business in-house:

Setup Cost
Call Center Facilities $2,000,000
Data Center Facilities 2,000,000
Consulting Fees 1,000,000
Hardware 500,000
Internet Connectivity 50,000
Site Marketing 200,000
Software 250,000
**Non-Recurring Total $6,000,000

Monthly Fee
24x7 Customer Service $60,000
24x7 I.T. Personnel 90,000
Facilities Fees 35,000
Internet Connectivity 30,000
Systems Upgrades 20,000
**Recurring Total $235,000

Tsig.com will set up the web site for a one-time fee of $99,000 and for a monthly maintenance fee of $25,000. That is equal to revenue of $400,000 the first year and recurring income of $300,000 for succeeding years per customer. REW has used the term "synergistic" many times. The above numbers illustrate what he means.
