Agree with you BB. And waht about the comments here that we should remember that is was much the same criticism of Bernie when he went for MCI?

Yes there was a good deal of criticism at the time BUT there was also a another bid or two for MCI. MCI was a desireable company. MCI was loaded with opportunity to reduce costs and increase profit for years to come. AND other bids. It was a fight to get MCI, a big fight becasue people wanted it........

Where is anyone else who wants to buy NXTL? Anyone please respond, its only $10bn. Small change for the telecom industry these days.

Sorry NXTL don't mean to rain on your parade but you seem to be winning in big way at WCOM expense. Who is selling this for you? I want to reccomend him for the Nobel prize in salesmanship.

BTW has anyone any furhter information about Nokia having played any role in this deal?
