Anyone care to comment on Friday's volatility in crude prices? I am surprised no one has.
Agreed, prices have been volatile for a while, but the drop from $18.80+ at 10:00 to $18.10 at around 12:00 is scary to me. However, I do not see any correlation on the OSX (Diana: this seems to be proving your point!).
Even though crude nicely recovered at the close, what caused such a sharp drop at mid-day?
Note: my observations are based on looking at CL99M on Quote.com live charts.

Now a note to the "belligerents" on this thread: You all have proved your value with good quality posts in the past, so why lowering yourselves to even responding one another? You should feel SECURE ENOUGH to adopt the best response to attacks: silence.
Your attacker may not think highly of you, but why do you care? Responding will not change that. On the other hand, others on this thread will respect you if you go back to posting good quality material and ON TOPIC.

Now I hope no one will attack me for having said that. I would not respond anyway and I will return now to my mostly lurking status.

Big

Thanks for another terrific issue of ODB. Don't know how you do it but it gets better every week. Thanks again from the ADULTS on this thread. Looking forward to the Matt Simmons stuff. When the fourth-graders are done lobbing spitballs at one another, maybe they might contemplate a phrase you used a while back that I remembered........

I DON'T DO PERSONAL
