>>"It is time for Milosovic to "Bow to Superior Force". <<

What superior force? There are still 40,000 Serb troops and 300 Serb tanks in Kosovo. The ethnic Albanians who are still there are living in the woods surviving on insects and rain water.

NATO has totally failed in their primary mission of protecting the ethnic Albanians. All they are doing is killing civilians and destroying property. Every time a NATO plane flies over Kosovo on its way to Serbia to bomb another cigarette factory a Serb soldier puts a bullet into another Kosovar's head. You call that winning?

When this war is over whose money will be spent to rebuild Kosovo and Serbia? You call that winning? Who is going to pay for the NATO military presence in Kosovo for the next 50 years? Again, you call that winning?

What the U.S. should do is run up the white flag, tell Milovsevic that he won, pack up all of our war toys and come home. Let Europe and Tony Blair worry about Kosovo and Serbia. It's their back yard.

Lorrie, you're probably right, but after we have gone on a rhetorical rampage to label him as "Hitler" what do you figure the chances are of him surrendering and submitting to the worlds court of opinion?

This war has done nothing but elevate his ego, and give him an excuse to kill hundreds of people. As well as kick out of the country all the people he has wanted to for years. The more bombs we drop on innocent civilians in city busses, farms, convoy's and transmition sites, the more we become like him.

I hope people like Yaacov who know a lot more about the region than I do are right. The future I see for this conflict is not bright at all. Kosova is just too important a place for these people to willfully give up. This site provides some good clarity on the history of the region. And why this war is not a war America should be getting involved in.

bglink.com

This section deals with the hundred year struggle both sides have gone through to ethnically clense eachother from the region.

bglink.com WAR AND GENOCIDE

As I've said before, this ain't no Hitler beating up on Mother Theresa.

Long after Clinton and Tony Blair turn to dust, the Serbs will still be in Kosovo.
