No I am not, you misunderstood me.

During the last 5 weeks of first quarter 1999, AMD sold about 2.4 million processors. That pace would result in 5.8 million processors per quarter. AMD sold all those.

The above statement was a rebuttal against the argument that AMD could not have sold 5.5 million processors even if it was able to produce it. Not true considering AMD sold at even a higher rate during the last 5 weeks. That's all I was saying, but as always my real point gets lost.

Also I am not saying that AMD can make 5.8 million per quarter, since PB's (expert opinion) mentioned that the sharp rise during the last 5 weeks was mainly due to a supply "bubble" in the manufacturing line. I am saying that if they could make it, they would sell it.
