Mani - Re: " I am saying that if they could make it, they would sell it. "

I think Intel has closed that golden opportunity for AMD.

No longer can AMD sell a competitive CPU at prices 25% below Intel's CPUs.

Intel's Celerons - at speeds from 333 to 466 MHz - span the entire AMD MHz spectrum (within 9 MHz) and Intel's aggressive pricing on these Celerons - along with attractive i810 Motherboards - have begun taking back market share. Intel is now THE VALUE PROPOSITION LEADER !

The HIDDEN Kmart 63 - I verified again that the local CompUSAs in the Bay Area have never stocked such machines - means Intel's Pentium III takes ALL THE HIGH END.

Look for another crappy quarter - and some innovative EXCUSES - from AMD.

Paul

<I am saying that if they could make it, they would sell it.>

Yeah, but at what price? You could always sell everything you make if you charge pennies for your product. But Jerry "We Must Have Patience" Sanders denied being a charity.
