"The friends and enemies you make today will last
for a long time. It's in AOL's best interest not to get on AT&T's
bad side."

Jing- The good news is that we will know more on Thursday. This is getting very interesting. We know T wants MediaOne. The question is, how bad do they want it? According to Armstrong, he doesn't plan to lose the merger. If there is a Comcast/Ally counter, T's going to up the bid. It's going to take a helluva deal to beat T. Is it best for AOL, MSFT and others to just stay out of it so bridges are not burned? Will egos get in the way? Many of these guys are accustomed to coming in first, not second. We will know more on Thursday.
