Ralph, congratulations on picking Charismatic. I am wondering how many horses drop out of the Preakness now. If it had been Menifee or Prime Timber winning, I think most would have said "forget it." But some of these horses have beaten Charismatic and more have beaten horses who have beaten charismatic, so a lot of folks have to be thinking "if the trip was only a little different."

Ralph,

>>but I always keep in my mind that horses, and particularly three's, can improve quickly.<<

Absolutely. That's why I wasn't shocked to see him win. His last race was very fast and he has been improving. But you never can tell when they fire a lifetime top like that whether it's a new performance level or a one shot deal. I also would have liked to have seen him run well against another horse who competed at a higher classification.

I believe one other horse came out of that race and won a N.Y. stake. So that further verifies the quality of the field.

30-1 was a square price. I hope you cashed a good ticket.
