<Remember the PII-233 wasn't much faster than the P55C-233.>

Well, let's look at Business Winstone 98 under Windows 98:

www5.tomshardware.com

Pentium MMX 233: 19.5
Pentium II 233: 21.8 (11.8% improvement)

How about the same benchmark under Windows NT:

www5.tomshardware.com

Pentium MMX 233: 23.9
Pentium II 233: 28.7 (20.1% improvement)

So how do you define "much faster"? That 6% advantage that the K6-III has over the Pentium III under only one benchmark (Business Winstone 99) and one OS (Windows 98)?
