To Phil and ALL, The following was posted on the RagingBull TSIG thread tonight. I found it quite interesting... especially since I have raised this same idea privately in the past. Many may remember my thoughts quite some time ago about TSIG becoming a major internet conglomerate with a synergism between all of its components resulting in a major internet and stockmarket presence. Your thoughts are invited. Be Right!!!... Sit Tight!!! Best always, Marty ********************************************************************** By: INGVARD Reply To: None Sunday, 2 May 1999 at 7:37 PM EDT Post # of 8595 SIMPLE?? Perhaps I am the simple one,or simpleton, whatever. I would like to throw out a plan, to effectively eliminate the pp, get TSIG on NASDAQ,and make a lot of us longs wealthy, in a relatively short period of time. The numbers I'll use are just for discussion, nothing more. Let's say that TSIG decides to spin off the Silicon Valley division of John Hwang, the online service division. Through an investment banking firm, the following could be done, form a separate corporation, authorize 50 million shares, with TSIG owning 51%, or 25.5 million shares, spinoff 20% to TSIG shareholders, or 10 million shares, and offer one half of the remainding 29%, or 7.5 million shares to the public, through an IPO offering. Let's say the offering is for 7.5m shares @$8.00, the new IPO would have over 60 million dollars, for start up, acquisitions, etc.. TSIG would have a capitalization of an additional 200 million $, the pp can now be retired, and no need for more pps. Once this plan is announced to the public, Tsig stock price would explode, almost immediately going over the minimum $ requirements of NASDAQ, and enabling TSIG to get that listing. Then watch it explode! Shareholders of record, would also get a wonderful dividend in the form of a 20% stock payout of the new IPO. I'm sure that there would be a lot of happy campers on these threads then. So what do you think? Too simple? Let's kick it around,[not me] If nothing else, someone will probably pick this up as fact, spread it around, the stock will soar,[better then pr]LOL. Disclaimer; no fact to any of the above, just throwing out food for thought. Ingvard
