James Strauss: As always you make good points. The DecisionPoint chart you reference, I display on my chart page on the MDA Web Site with added trend lines. There is overshoot above the trendline, but I think the Mac Summation is trying to cluster (stall), at the juncture! As I follow both actual and theoretical data on the Dow Indices, I personally prefer the theoretical numbers for medium and longer term analysis. The Transports did penetrate last week the previous theoretical high, but follow through is needed to confirm. But, as do you, I will keep my eye on them...<g> I think it is important to note the reason the Dow Indices have been rising as of late. I believe it is money rotation out of the hi-techs and inutz and seeking perceived safer issues! Just my take...
