Nobody cares. The name is FAMOUS. At least until people get majorly hurt. For now, Nobody cares. A-M-A-Z-O-N-D-O-T-C-O-M!!! That's all they know. It will come back after a further spike down. Just like all the rest. I predict that the time when people will get hurt will be after the NEXT earnings period selloff.

OK J.Y. , we all have said AMZN is a POS at one time. It doesn't mitigate the fact that most shorts have lost their butts in it. One day the markets will begin to differentiate internet stocks and I think it's coming soon, with the advent of a new breed. Profitable ones ;-) I know those are the ones I'm eyeing for bounces...EBAY NITE CMGI

AMZN and margins: Is anyone on this thread old enough to remember Catch-22 (the book, once upon a time we read them...)? Remember Yossarian's side business -- selling eggs on Pianosa? He bought 'em for 3c on the mainland, sold 'em for 2c on the island. Finally someone asked him how he did it. He replied definitively, "VOLUME!" I can't help but feel a big shakeout is coming...this year. The 30% bounce of last week will feel tame by comparison, and it will bounce like a raw egg. The big $$$$$ question is when.
