BE THERE or be rectangular!!! 14th USBL Season Tips-Off Tomorrow Night MILFORD, Conn., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Basketball League's (USBL) (OTC Bulletin Board: USBL) 14th Annual Season will tip-off tomorrow night, when ten USBL teams will be in action. Thirteen (13) teams will take the floor this summer, the most in League history, so the USBL is poised to have one of its finest seasons. "This is an exciting time of year for the League and its franchises," said Commissioner, Daniel T. Meisenheimer. "I truly feel as though the fans of the USBL will enjoy this season, as we put 13 talented teams out on the court. I am really looking forward to see how things play out and wish every USBL franchise good luck as they shoot for the 1999 USBL Crown." The Atlantic City Seagulls, winners of the last two USBL Championships, will look to take a run at their third straight. The Seagulls will take on the Raleigh Cougars tomorrow night. In other action the Brooklyn Kings will start their inaugural USBL Season when they host the Washington, D.C. Congressionals; the New Hampshire Thunder Loons will take on last year's Runner-Up, the Long Island Surf; the Gulf Coast SunDogs will open up at their new home against the Kansas Cagerz and the Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs will travel to play against Rick Barry and the New Jersey Shorecats.
