When all of us young bucks are old timers and computer literate, PPOD will be a good business model. The company is ahead of it's time right now.
That is the case with many internet business models. Especially drug stores and banks. As we get older and we wind up in nursing homes pecking away at our computers, we will be having all of our groceries and prescriptions delivered to us by ordering from the internet. And we will be paying for it directly from our on-line bank accounts.
The old timers sitting around the nursing homes right now are not computer literate, and they aren't gonna get that way. PPOD, probably won't make a go of it because they are at least 10 years ahead of their time and they will have burned up all their money before the world is ready for them. That's just my opinion.
I do however beleive the drug stores have a good chance because it is the doctor's receptionist that can take care of submitting the on-line order for prescriptions and the patient will be able to go staight home from the doctor's office and await delivery. No more running around town and standing around the drug store waiting for your prescription to be filled. I still own my original DEMP and I won't be getting rid of it for a long time.
