I've dealt with ignorant people like Sylvia in the past, no sense
arguing with them. They use PLDs because you can design without
doing much thinking.

Hey schlep - tell me more about the Apex numbers you are seeing.

I presume you are targetting a 20K400 ?
Have you done any benchmarking w/ 20K versus Virtex ?

I just finished V300 designs and was very impressed with the
performance, but most impressed with the P&R times. V300 99%
utilized P&R in 35 minutes, running 50 MHz no sweat.

How about 20K compile times ? 10K100 design took 12 hours to route.
