Stock could go to $10 tomorrow really and it wouldn't mattrer

Hawaii, how I wish it would go to $20, or $25. It would really simplify my portfolio and save me a lot of investing time. You see, all I need to do then is to own just 1 stock.

Regards,

Tom

hawaii aren't you concerned about the bb stocks that are currently encroaching upon idtc turf? with their prices and networks, it would appear idtc has lost its opportunity and the window has closed. there are still isp's that charge 10-15 dollars and people are just flocking away from aol. and in the semi conductor biz how can companies like nvls ever believe they can compete with the nimble fabs that can continue to pressure their margins?

soon t, wcom, fon and others will be at the mercy of these startups. how can they compete with their large overheads and r&d?

p.s. can i assume this $10 is not your prediction for the week:-)

>>...when they release the news it will be at 60-80...<<

Just so we understand, do you mean the day the news is released, the week the news is released, or sometime within a year or two of the news release. And specifically which news will do this.

Thanks,

sf

there you go again, Hawaii60. you bring out the worst in some posters when you talk like that. :-) however, i fear that it could get ugly around here if the stock went to $10 tomorrow. but, on the bright side, they couldn't say that you didn't warn them. :-)

Hawaii60 - I agree that "when they release the news that everyone has been waiting for ( corp investors, IPO, MAJOR marketing deals - Disney etc. ) that the stock will fly but the stock needs to stabilize at the range 28-31 that its been at. that way we can get to 60-80. Hopefully the company will be doing its part with news releases and working with the brokerage houses to do this until the "news" comes out.

I know we have all speculated about the when the news gets released and we have all been wrong. But I would like to know your gut feeling on whne you think the news will be released and why. My concern is that if they wait too long they get into a quiet period around earnings then no more news and the stock will sell down further.

I have stuck with this thing through ups and downs. I have accumulated not sold. I have so much now that I can't buy more. My head says no worries but my gut says - every week we expect the news and then nothing happens.

Thanks and have a great day
