ABOV--i bsegan to build a long position today in abovenet...

it's the truth...all of my earlier complaints were about overvaluation...though, i of course still think abov is overvalued by 400-500 million dollars of MC, i also believe that the split and the ending of the quiet period will be strong near-term catalysts for this issue...

i was lucky and waited until the close today before buying...

for the record, i am long 1800 @ 82 1/2...

i want a postion of at least 3000 shares<up to 6 thousand if it falls far enough tomorrow>...

i hope for a gap down in order to accumulate more...i will buy at 78, 72, 68, and anything below...

however, i do not expect these prices tomorrow...i actually think the run will begin tomorrow...

my guess is that by next tuesday, we will be at 60-65 post split...

good luck to both longs and shorts...

Rick & fellow ABOV'ers ... if Mr M says he is not an employee of ABOV I believe him. I did speculate that Mr M was an employee based upon all of his previous posts ( very protective and many mentions of "our" company ).
I am not a day trader but obviously a "speculator / investor" since I am in up to my neck with internet stocks.
As I have a traditional 9-5 job I don't have the time to monitor the screen all day waiting to pull the trigger every time ABOV dips.
I am less enamored with ABOV then Mr M as I have done very well with stocks like CMGI, DCLK, EXDS, GNET, RNWK, so perhaps it's not fair for me to expect the same growth / performance out of ABOV as these others.
Mr Miller, if I offended please accept my apologies.
Sincerely, Mr Gardener
