Rajiv, I am sure you will agree with me that the figures mentioned by you was in keeping with the investor sentiment against Internet stocks prevalent at the time when Yahoo, AOL and AMZN announced their earnings. I think you are trying to imply that a stock would drop following earnings announcement and that PCLN would do the same.

Today in pre hours PCLN is bidding up. Analysts on CNBC predicting that starting today money will start to flow back into the Internet stocks. Even AMZN is bidding up +4 in pre hours. Now PCLN may slide tomorrow if they do not report blowout earnings.

So I would not be all that negative on PCLN yet. It still has some steam and investors today have money to invest, AMZN, AOL, EBAY money.
So if they see PCLN as promising with a good future for the next six months (stock splits etc.) then guess where they are going to put their money today?
