Hi Scarecrow, For Days to Cover, I agree with your formula but
the calculation for, say, April is then:

Days to cover = shares short / average daily volume

For April,

ADV = 4959279
Short = 3760794
Days to Cover = 3760794/4959279 = .758

But I make lots of mistakes so someone check this

Would some kind soul out there please tell me in a nutshell what short interest is supposed to do to the longs. Best I can figure out, increase in short positions is likely to drive share price up due to shorts trying to cover their positions. Is this anywhere close?
