Dan Weld, the co-founder of Netbot which produced a shopping agent technology called Jango that was ultimately purchased by Excite in Nov 1997, has founded a new start-up to collect and analyze user data to benefit advertisers. Unfortunately, I know nothing more about their business plan so please don't bother asking questions. The company is located in Seattle, though. My guess is that DCLK will be interested in this sort of company--small, cheap, emphasizing data analysis--rather than large companies that duplicate their current products & services.

Don't think DCLK will acquire any public co, certainly nothing with an "Internet" valuation--still too expensive.

Sorry I could not be of more assistance here.
