Morning Hal,

Still holding those puts... and added a few more this am...

I anticipate selling to start over the next day or so.

Jeff

Hal,

GZ is a better person to ask about technical use of pitchforks.
My answer might be incomplete or in some way wrong.
They are just one tool he uses to determine when to enter a trade or get out....such as chart patterns and internal changes.

>>judge when a turn will occur<<

I will say this....markets move when they meet fork tines.
By watching forks one begins to get a feel for the patterns that evolve when this occurs. Take for instance my call yesterday that the markets were about to explode upwards...the djia bounced off a Median line of a strong fork. Knowing when to buy or sell that signal is really a matter of long hours of watching and getting the feel and gaining the confidence to trade the signals.
Hope this is useful.
Chip
