Member 4591117 you could 'peoplemark' Bob's profile so it would be real easy to find. If the attack is against you, don't respond in kind, just report it. If the attack is against another, report it. If it's two misguided angry people slinging mud, report them both. In your message to Bob or Jill, give them link(s) to the offensive post(s), and quotes from them, as appropriate. We can END this foolishness. If inconsiderate people were tearing up your neighborhood and disturbing the peace, you'd put a stop to it, yes?. Well, they are. So do it. There is peace right now, but you know it won't last. When the next flare-up comes, let's stamp it out. Warnings for 'Terms of Use' violations will make abusers think twice. If they can't control themselves, they'll be gone. They will be warned, then suspended, and eventually terminated. When I see personal insults, or any Terms of Use violations from anyone, I will be contacting Jill or Bob. This foolishness hurts the thread. We have here some knowledgeable people who can help us all. I want them to enjoy coming to this thread to exchange information and ideas. If the emotional incontinence or inappropriate mud-slinging playfulness of some posters makes the thread less attractive to read and post to, I'm going to try to put a stop to that. Please, let's all resolve to not just turn away in disgust, but to work to save this thread from becoming what we all know it might if we do nothing. regards, diana
