Not that I know of. More in Chicago and Cleveland where I grew up. Certainly Boston is the big winner, but Chicago is 2nd. You know, alot of folks landed in New Orleans and are still there. Never been there myself.

Valley Media Announces Contract with Amazon.com
BUSINESS WIRE - May 04, 1999 18:18
WOODLAND, CALIF. (May 4) BUSINESS WIRE -May 4, 1999--Valley Media, Inc., (Nasdaq:VMIX) announced today an extension of its wholesale contract with Internet retailer Amazon.com (Nasdaq:AMZN). Under the terms of the contract, Valley will continue its role as Amazon's primary full-line wholesale supplier of music, video and DVD product through March 3rd of 2001.

"Amazon has been a key account for our New Media sales division for almost a year now," said Randy Cerf, Valley's Chief Financial Officer. "Because of that fact, we do not expect any dramatic incremental sales as a result of this contract beyond that which will accrue to Amazon's own growth in purchasing. Rather, the agreement simply extends our existing service functions with Amazon and reaffirms our relationship with one of our important business partners. Amazon leverages Valley's deep product selection, data products and exceptional turnaround times. This has been a win-win arrangement for both companies and we are pleased to see this partnership continue."

Valley Media, Inc., is a recognized leader in full-line entertainment wholesale distribution, Internet retail fulfillment, independent music distribution and proprietary database products and publications.

Valley Media operates facilities in seven states with primary distribution centers in Louisville, KY, and its Woodland, CA, corporate headquarters. Information on Valley Media is available on the web at www.valley-media.com.
